Overacting 101

You might know me from the television show CSI.

I like my sunglasses. A LOT. This is my signature move.

Here’s a montage of my favorite dramatic moments.

  1. Love the show, can’t stand him, though.

  2. Yeah, I don’t like him either. Too funny!

And I know, about all the comments. My computer can hardly handle it all. I think people like free stuff. Just a hunch.

“And you know, no matter what I’m talking about…”
[pause. put sunglasses ON] “it’s always VERY serious…” [look into far distance]

Yes, Husband and I make fun of this all the time. Absurd really. Thanks for the giggle.

  4. It’s RIDICULOUS! That YouTube clip absolutely cracked me up.

  5. Drive by………Miami style.

Don’t you just want to push him off that bridge he’s standing on in the first scene?

I didn’t know we weren’t the only people in the whole wild world that made fun of him.

  6. No doubt — such a tool.

  7. I need to borrow his sunglasses just so I can look at that picture and not be blinded by the white-ness of his hands.

  8. p.s. Just saw your AllTop bling. CONGRATS!!

Do you also notice that everything he says sounds the same?

It’s like he has an omni-intonation for everything, whether he’s ordering a hamburger or chasing a killer.

  10. I’m not sure what annoyed me more….David Caruso or that sound bite they kept playing. It made me wanna punch SOMEONE, ANYONE in the face….

Wait a sec, actually that blonde chick on the show annoys me more.

  11. I watched this show twice, and not all the way through. Just enough to learn his M.O. Now when my husband and I catch a promo for the show, we stop what we’re doing and listen to whatever crap comes outta that guy’s mouth, then burst out laughing. It’s keeping our marriage strong.

“This is the city. Los Angeles, California. I work here . . . I carry a badge.”

  12. I HATE THAT GUY! this is hilarious…

and he is such an over-actor! loser.

  13. what a knob. I have a hard time watching this show what with all the “acting”… !

  14. Oh girl! You make me laugh! Stop by & see how I tackled my sanity! I’m still trying to get all the sand out of my shorts! 😀

For your daily dose of vintage goodness & a bit of silliness, stop by Confessions of an Apron Queen, the home of Vintage Thingies Thursdays.

  15. As you say its his signature style. His style needs improved. Love the show, though!

  16. I know – I see him in commercials and can’t believe my eyes – so funny…do you think he’s like that at home?
