Hellooo From The Land of Sleep Deprivation

Tonight, I am too tired to blog. I do have something written. It’s … okay, I think … But it’s not done. And I’m not really sure what it’s about. I’d run a spell check, but apparently WordPress decided that function wasn’t important enough to keep when they changed the dashboard earlier this week. Can that be right?

Sitting on the couch, fingers poised above the keyboard, I just realized I’ve been frozen in this position, staring at GOLF the past 10 minutes. With my mouth open. And no recollection of any of it. Except maybe a Cialis commercial. Or was it Sominex?

The damn bird snapped me out of it. The one that’s been chirping non-stop outside the window. In the dead of night, no less. The one that turned out to be my nose whistling.

It’s safe to say chronic lack of sleep has zombified me. Barely able to keep my eyes open, and I can’t quit. I’m STILL typing.

MUST … BLOG … BLOG … GOOD … SLEEP … BAD

I need help.

Scratch the spell check thing – I just found it. I SWEAR it wasn’t there 10 minutes ago.

  1. OMG – I’m so insomniac tonight (this morning).

Great visual BTW – that was friggin’ hilarious – the nose whistling thing – Oh my Gawd! You’re so funny –

  2. I totally hear you. I haven’t slept in days. Not well, anyways. Kids, they are trying to ruin me, I tells ya.

  3. I have the psycho bird that mocks me and stalks me. It sits outside me window and smacks it stupid body against my window, randomly, usually when the house is quiet during naptime and I’m about to take a sip of sweet tea. It scares the spit out of me.

If it starts chirping, I’m looking for a bb gun.

  4. Picking your nose will put a stop to that pesky nose whistle.

  5. I was all insomniacky last night, then I paid for it today, until 4 pm, when I thought it would be a good idea to take a nap. Who does that? Now I think I’m going to be all insomnicaky again tonight. Thank goodness my parents are in town this weekend.

Also, word on the spellcheck appearance/disappearance. I don’t get it.

Don’t they realize that it is almost completely impossible to correctly spell at 3am while suffering from extreme insomnia and blogging?? Thank goodness for firefox!

Cut and paste with MS Word works too…
